Although it is necessary to call 911 during an emergency, it is critical to maintain oxygen flow to the brain to increase the chances of survival. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is a method used to maintain oxygen flow throughout the brain, the heart, and the rest of the body. CPR is necessary once an individual becomes unresponsive and is not breathing. With a combination of high quality chest compressions and rescue breaths a life can be saved. Upon successful completion of the training, certifications will be issued. We offer American Heart Association (AHA) & American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) Certifications. Most certifications are valid for two years.
Demonstration of CPR skills is required to receive a CPR certification. Manikins and other training equipment will be incorporated into the hands-on training. Avoid online CPR training that promises instant certification, without a skills demonstration.

First responders or professional rescuers generally include fire, police and emergency medical personnel. These types of prehospital professionals usually need to complete a Basic Life Support (BLS) course. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course from the list below.
The only requirement is that you book online and pay before you come. If you are coming for a skills session it is required that you complete the online portion and bring your certificate of completion. Please bring your photo I.D.
Unless with the American Heart Association, you should avoid taking online CPR classes since they do not include any hands-on practice. Most employers will not accept a CPR card that was 100% online.
The AHA does not mandate a minimum age requirement for learning CPR. The ability to perform CPR is based more on body strength than age.
